Attar is a dynamic global fashion industry expert; her unique combination of passionate instinct, creative talent and strong business acumen have placed her at the forefront of regional and international companies in senior executive roles, most recently as the CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Fashion.
Her reputation for identifying designer talent, investing in the future of fashion and changing the retail landscape in the Middle East by brining iconic brands to the region such as Abercrombie & Fitch has positioned her as one of the top 100 most powerful Arab women in 2012 by Arabian Business magazine.
Her success has been pronounced in the past ten years mainly due to the tireless work that she has done on behalf of the brands she has represented in London, Barcelona, New York and Dubai, working with and representing labels such as Alexander McQueen, Dolce & Gabbana, Dries Van Notten, Harrods, and Giorgio Armani to name a few.
Originally from the Middle East, Attar truly believes that the rich culture and heritage is the home for the future generations of designers. As CEO of Lead Associates, she has now turned her focus to develop, nurture and provide a platform for these talents to showcase their designs
Attar is an advocate of CSR and believes ethical and social responsibility are at the forefront of any business and that for a human being to have self respect and dignity, they must endeavour to make a difference to people’s lives.
