Joshua is one of few product design entrepreneurs in UAE. After getting hands on education in the University of south Australia amongst the prototyping and model making studios with 3d printing and other crafting tools. He transferred to the Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne to graduate and soak up the art, fashion and culture the city is known for. Born in Australia but raised Dubai Joshua returned in 2009 determined to bring out some of the same culture Dubai had to offer. He founded Sole Dxb – a trade and fashion festival celebrating urban apparel and culture with footwear as a focal point. Consulting, conceiving and managing various projects for companies like Nike, Puma, New Era, Casio and other street wear labels.
 
In parallel Joshua became one of the 4 founding partners of Tinkah LLC- a multidisciplinary design firm and moving towards creating a platform for true innovation for the region. Exploring communication, packaging, branding furniture, fashion and all areas of creativity. With much success since its inception and clients ranged from individuals to small companies to large conglomerates and Government bodies of Dubai. Tinkah is in the process of developing in house projects including fashion labels and carry accessories.
 
Joshua is passionate about creating and the tools technology involved in the process, his goal is to help establish the design language of the region and is spearheading a Tinkah initiative to create a Centre that will help launch designers in fashion, print and product.
