Alice Shulman is head of Womenswear at MTWTFSS Weekday, a Stockholm based fashion & denim brand that was bough by the H&M group in 2010. Alice has been with the company for five years and was made Head of Womenswear in 2014. During this time the company has grown from a small independent brand to a multi-costumer concept with over 20 stores in Europe. During her time with the brand, assortment has increased from 150 to 550 garments per season & the Womenswear team has grown five times in size. Weekday offers minimalist Scandinavian design to a fashion forward & young-at-heart costumer.Shulman studied Fashionat Beckmans College of design in Stockholm from where she graduated in 2007. During her studies, Alice was awarded the Scandinavian +46 fashion prize. After graduation, she had joined Acne Studios, assisting the Head of Womenswear for over a year and half before joining MTWTFSS Weekday. Alice has also worked as a Stylist and Illustrator for various Swedish fashion-brands. Alongside her work at Weekday, Shulman collaborates with graphic designer Martin Falck on a project called Am-Mainz. Am-Mainz is a creative outlet & a platform aiming to explore out-of-the box ideas, developing intuitive & collaborative work with other designers & artists such as Robyn. One of these projects was recently featured in Robyn and Snoop Dogg video ‘U should know better’.
