Salma Awwad has over ten years of experience working with some of the biggest names in the luxury and fashion design industries. Two years ago she founded her own styling and design consultancy house, Sawwad Fashion, which saw her direct and style shoots for brands including Condé Nast Traveller, Harper's Bazaar, Stylist, Hello!, Architectural Digest and MBC's Project Runway. She also led the design of the new Condé Nast Traveller Middle East website which launched in July 2016.

A graduate of New York’s Parsons School of Design, she went on to work for some of the world’s leading fashion houses, including Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani, Alexander Wang and Narciso Rodriguez. Operating from both the Middle East and New York, Salma has undertaken roles at Lancôme in L'Oréal, Jean Paul Gaultier and Issey Miyake.
Earlier this year, Salma's wealth of fashion expertise inspired her to create and manufacture her own capsule fashion collection. 100% made in the UAE, the line focuses on using the latest technology in fashion production through laser techniques and cutting edge methods.
Salma’s workshop will demonstrate how her editorial styling experience can easily translate into personal styling tips. From Identifying the most flattering styles for different body shapes to analysing the best color selections for you to wear.
The interactive workshop will walk you through a full stylist consultation session and leave you armed with the best tools of the trade.
