Riccardo Vannetti was born in Tuscany and raised in Florence. He graduated in Art History at l’Università degli Studi di Siena where he followed a specialization in History of Contemporary Architecture. These studies turned him into a great art, architecture and lifestyle aficionado and allowed him to work as a freelance journalist for big fashion magazines like L’Uomo Vogue, MF Fashion and L’Officiel Hommes. His further career included managerial positions at Core Capital Equity – an Anglo-American multinational group. His next step involved covering the positions of Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice-President at Lagente, which is based in Milan and manage fashion designers and promising creatives. In January 2016 Riccardo Vannetti was appointed to his current role, Director of Tutorship Division at Pitti Immagine, in charge for the mentoring and advising of designers. Tutorship also provides strategic consulting for companies and personal brands and is taking care of the relationship with the Fashion Schools worldwide.

Originally form Italy, Viola has spent has spent most of her life studying and working around the world and learning the importance of cross-cultural personal and business relations. After spending her early childhood in Rome, Viola studied in New York City and Beirut, where she attended American University of Beirut, eventually moving to Tunisia, where she worked at the African Development Bank.
Viola’s travels finally took her back to Italy, where in 2008 she began to work with garments and fashion at Sinoitalian Service Agency srl. During her 4 years at SinoItalian, she trained and studied the technical aspects of manufacturing garments and learned about the characteristics of raw materials and treatments. It was this position as Product Manager that developed Viola's expertise in the processes and phases of sampling and bulk production. This job also allowed Viola to start traveling to China and to become acquainted with Chinese culture while establishing the necessary relationships with her future manufacturing partners.
In 2012, Viola founded APPAREL NETWORK SRL with her sister and business partner Francesca. Their company, which is a servicing and consulting agency specializing in the production of street and urban wear, collaborates with a strong network of factories in China, each one specialized in the production of specific types of products (knitted jersey/fleece items, woven padded/spring jackets items, swimwear items, accessories). The relationship between Apparel Network and its partner factories is strong and long lasting, Viola believes this is one of the most important prerogatives to work with Chinese suppliers.
Senior Head Academic Projects, Domus Academy
Barbara Trebitsch is a fashion designer and researcher, Senior Head of Academic Partnerships at Domus Academy and Naba and Dean at Global Art and Design Academy (GADA) in East China Normal University. She has headed the Fashion School at Domus Academy for 16 years. Her activity as a designer has been centered upon consultancy for various brands and culminated in the design of her own collection, which proposed a different approach to seasonality.
She is part of the ARTS THREAD's Education Board and also participates in the Expert Commission of MAM-Maestro d'Arte e Mestiere, (Fondazione Cologni dei mestieri d'Arte) and she is part of the board of Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda and of the Academic Council of Ixel Moda. She is part of the Fashion Colloquia initiative that involves several educational institutions worldwide and is a visiting lecturer and jury member across different institutions and events related to the fashion industry.
Assistant Merchandising Manager, New Times Group India
Tarun Pahwa manages the merchandising unit at Newtimes Group India Pvt. Ltd, focusing primarily on Sourcing & Production. He has been in this industry for over 10 years, and today oversees renowned international retailors, including Urban Outfitters and Anthropolgie. Tarun believes the key to success in sourcing and production lies in understanding client requirements and delivering the right thing at right price.
